Dr. Rachel Walega

Dr. Rachel Walega joined the Cross Veterinary team in the fall of 2019. She graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Prior to that, she completed her Bachelor of Science Degree at MSU in the field of genetics. Dr. Walega has a special interest in internal medicine and geriatric care and treasures being a part of the bond people share with their pets.

Dr. Walega and her husband, Mike share their lives with Poppy, a rescue mutt, Briggs, a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, and Kismet the kitty. They also have two human children, Carson and Aven. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, reading, and practicing yoga.
